What we do
Global Transit is the international connectivity arm of Malaysia’s TIME dotCom group, the owner of data centre operator AIMS, and grew out of a regional ISP business into a wholesale carrier connecting ASEAN to the rest of the world. It holds capacity on and helped fund major submarine systems including the Asia-Africa-Europe-1 (AAE-1) cable, under which Global Switch lists it, and sells IP transit, wholesale bandwidth and cable capacity to carriers and content providers. Its Singapore entity has been registered since 2005 and gives the group a landing and interconnection presence in one of Asia’s densest cable hubs.
