Report Abuse or Takedown

DMCA, defamation, doxxing, fake reviews, spam  ·  72-hour response SLA

TechDirectory takes content integrity seriously. Use this form for any content on the Platform that you believe is defamatory, infringes copyright, impersonates another party, exposes private information, or is otherwise abusive. For privacy-related requests (your own data), see the Privacy Policy → Your Rights section instead.

1. What to report

  • Defamation — a review or owner reply containing false statements of fact that damage a real person or business.
  • Fake reviews — coordinated review-bombing, paid reviews, or reviews from reviewers with no real relationship to the company.
  • Spam — promotional or off-topic content posted as a review, reply, or company description.
  • Copyright — DMCA-style takedown notices for logos, images, or text used without permission.
  • Impersonation — accounts or listings impersonating a real business or individual.
  • Doxxing — content publishing private contact details, addresses, or identifying information of a real person without consent.
  • Illegal content — anything that violates Singapore law (POHA, OSA, PDPA, etc.).

2. Submit a report

We accept reports from anyone — you do not need an account. We use your email address to follow up; we will not publish it.

3. What happens next

  1. We acknowledge receipt within 24 hours by email.
  2. An administrator reviews the report within 72 hours.
  3. For defamation and DMCA notices, we may temporarily unpublish the disputed content while we investigate (per Singapore Defamation Act and US DMCA §512(g) safe-harbor practice).
  4. We notify both reporter and content author of the outcome.
  5. If the report is upheld, the content is removed and the responsible account may face further action.

Filing a knowingly false report (perjurious DMCA notice, malicious complaint) may result in your IP/email being blocked from the Platform and, for DMCA, may expose you to liability under §512(f).

4. Urgent / legal

For urgent matters (active doxxing, imminent harm, court-ordered takedown), email [email protected] directly. Singapore law-enforcement requests should go to [email protected].
