1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and TechDirectory ("TechDirectory", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the website located at techdirectory.sg and all associated services, features, and content (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform in any manner — including browsing company listings, submitting a review, registering an account, or claiming a business listing — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
TechDirectory is a Singapore-based B2B technology company directory that enables businesses to discover, evaluate, and connect with technology service providers — including system integrators, telecommunications companies, cybersecurity firms, AI computing vendors, data centre operators, CRM providers, and structured cabling contractors.
The Platform provides the following core services:
- Company Directory: A searchable, categorised database of technology companies operating in Singapore.
- Company Profiles: Individual profile pages displaying company information, services, and verified credentials.
- Review System: A moderated platform for business users to submit and read authentic reviews of technology service providers.
- Business Listings: A self-service tool allowing companies to submit and claim their listings on the Platform.
- Buyer's Guides: Editorial content to help buyers make informed technology procurement decisions.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time, with or without notice.
3. User Accounts
Certain features of the Platform require you to register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and not share your password with any third party.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age and act on behalf of a registered business entity to submit reviews or claim company listings. TechDirectory reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, at our sole discretion, are being used fraudulently.
4. Company Listings
4.1 Listing Sources. Company listings on the Platform may be created by TechDirectory from publicly available sources, submitted directly by business owners, or sourced through authorised data partners. Listings exist to serve the research needs of buyers and do not constitute an endorsement by TechDirectory.
4.2 Claiming a Listing. Business owners may claim their company's listing to manage and update profile information. By claiming a listing, you represent and warrant that you are an authorised representative of that business. Providing false information to claim a listing that does not belong to your organisation is strictly prohibited.
4.3 Accuracy of Information. Businesses that claim their listings are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information — including company description, services, contact details, and certifications — is accurate and up to date. TechDirectory reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove any listing that contains inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate content.
4.4 Removal of Listings. TechDirectory may remove or delist a company at its discretion, including in cases where the company has ceased operations, is found to be fraudulent, or has violated these Terms. Businesses may request removal of their listing by contacting us at [email protected].
5. Reviews & Ratings
5.1 Eligibility. To submit a review, you must have had a direct, verifiable business relationship with the company being reviewed — either as a client, customer, or project partner. Reviews submitted on behalf of competitors, or by current or former employees of the reviewed company, are prohibited.
5.2 Authenticity. All reviews must be honest, first-hand accounts based on your genuine experience. You must not submit fabricated, incentivised (paid or gifted), or fraudulent reviews. TechDirectory takes review integrity seriously and employs moderation processes to detect and remove inauthentic content.
5.3 Content Standards. Reviews must comply with our content standards. Reviews must not contain:
- Defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory language.
- Confidential or proprietary business information.
- Personal information about identifiable individuals.
- Promotional content, hyperlinks, or advertising material.
- Content that is false, misleading, or unsubstantiated.
5.4 Moderation. TechDirectory reserves the right to approve, edit, or remove any review at its sole discretion, without notice. Businesses may flag reviews they believe violate our policies; however, TechDirectory does not remove reviews solely because the reviewed company disagrees with the content.
5.5 Licence to Reviews. By submitting a review, you grant TechDirectory a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your review content across the Platform and in associated marketing materials.
6. User-Generated Content
The Platform may allow users to submit content beyond reviews, including company descriptions, logos, images, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you represent that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content.
- The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
- The content does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
You grant TechDirectory a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, modify, and display your User Content for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform. TechDirectory does not claim ownership of User Content but takes no responsibility for User Content submitted by third parties.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information about any company or individual.
- Manipulate company ratings or review scores through coordinated, fake, or incentivised reviews.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Platform without prior written consent.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform.
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Platform.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Singapore law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts or Platform systems.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination, removal of content, and, where appropriate, referral to relevant authorities.
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform and all its original content — including the TechDirectory name and logo, website design, editorial content, buyer's guides, data compilations, and software — are the intellectual property of TechDirectory and are protected under Singapore copyright, trademark, and related laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express prior written consent. Limited, non-commercial personal use (such as sharing a company profile link) is permitted provided attribution to TechDirectory is maintained.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. TechDirectory does not warrant that:
- The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.
- Company information, reviews, ratings, or other content on the Platform is accurate, complete, or current.
- Any company listed on the Platform is suitable for your particular business needs.
TechDirectory is a discovery and research tool. We do not verify every piece of information submitted by companies or users, and we do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any company listed on the Platform or for any transaction or relationship that arises from your use of it.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Singapore law, TechDirectory and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
- Any decision made in reliance on content found on the Platform.
- Any business relationship entered into as a result of using the Platform.
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
In no event shall TechDirectory's total aggregate liability to you exceed SGD 100, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechDirectory, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any rights of any third party.
12. Termination
TechDirectory may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiations between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
14. Changes to Terms
TechDirectory reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
